This series of images were created various purposes- practice, fun, art contests, etc. Fantasy provides the formal discipline of classical practice alongside conceptual freedom. These works use monsters, heroes, and popular tropes from literature to investigate the space between the inner psyche and the external world, treating the fantastical as a lens for psychological inquiry rather than escape.

I also really like painting fantasy characters.
